Salman Shahid starred in Barzakh recently. He is a big star and a legend who has worked in all the mediums of entertainment and he has served Pakistan for 50 years. The actor was a guest on Gup Shab and spoke about his work, life lessons and Asim Abbasi’s Barzakh that gained a lot of criticism.
Salman Shahid was asked how much the backlash on the show affected him and what his thoughts were on it. He said that all the actors were communicating when the show was on-air and it was painful in the beginning but the backlash died down after the show ended. He said that he still feels the backlash became too much.
Replying to accusations of promoting agendas he said that they were not trying to promote anything. It was just a show and he also welcomes any criticism when it is constructive.
