Tan Man Neelo Neel is the talk of the town due to its hard hitting ending. The drama was based on the difficult topic of mob violence that we are witnessing in our country now and again. The way Sonu, Rabi and Moon succumb to mobs was hard to watch and made people cry for the characters. Shuja Asad played the lead character Sonu Dangerous and he was great in evey frame of the drama.
Director of Tan Man Neelo Neel Saife Hassan sat down with Something Haute and spoke about his vision and the drama that touched so many hearts. He shared that Shuja Asad was not the first choice for this drama. They pitched it first to Danyal Zafar as Danyal is a singer so they thought he may dance as well. Danyal Zafar refused and revealed that he is not such a good dancer. They therefore considered another young face Shuja Asad who became the now loved Sonu.

He also spoke about the Sonu Dangerous controversy. He revealed that he has a friend Sonu who choreographed the whole routines in Tan Man Neelo Neel and they used to call him Sonu Dangerous. That artist belongs to the disciples of Sheema Kirmani. The makers did not even know that a dancer actually exists whose name is Sonu Dangerous.
