He is nowadays seen in the hit drama Qarz e Jaan and he sat on DigiTales podcast where he spoke about the fashion history of Pakistan, his influential family and his take on the drama and film industry of Pakistan.
Deepak Perwani said that our dramas are doing great but we are still backwards. He started by explaining that you cannot show red blood in a scene as it is prohibited by PEMRA. He shared that once he got a call in the middle of the night that the lead actor’s sherwani has been stolen. He had to get one of his own sherwani to get the shoot done. He also revealed that on this set, the actress kept saying that she will only dance with the hero and not with the guy who was playing the hero’s cousin.
