Meem se Mohabbat is a drama written by Farhat Ishtiaq and directed by Ali Hassan. With Ahad Raza Mir returning to television and Dananeer Mobeen as the lead after Mohabbat Gumshuda Meri, fans were already looking forward to this show. The drama is moving towards its biggest twist while all the supporting cast has performed really well in every scene.
One character that won hearts from her very first appearance was Mahi aka Kahdija Saleem who is playing Dananeer’s sister in Meem Se Mohabbat. Her very positive role, the way she has been shown as a supportive and positive sister and the bond she has with her family was loved by everyone who was tired of seeing vampish and conniving sisters in dramas.
Mahi is played by a newcomer Khadija Saleem. She has just started out in the industry and she always wanted to be an actress. She was thinking about her future career trajectory and she knew that there could be opposition from her family. Her mother supported her and she finally reached out to production houses.
Khadija Saleem also got the opportunity to be a host at the Hum Awards carpet and she garnered appreciation for how good she was at the event.
The actress appeared in Tum Mere Kiya Ho and then she got the opportunity to star in Meem Se Mohabbat. Her character is a winner in the story and many people were able to relate it to an old PTV era-esque sibling bond.
She is keen to get more roles and she sees a bright future for her in the industry. She is also practical and feels like marriage is important in her life but it is not everything. She would like to balance her own self, her hobbies, passion for her work and relationships whenever that happens in her life.
