Lately, Nadia Khan appeared in Waseem Badami’s famous show Har Lamha Purjosh. In the show, Nadia Khan talked about decline of Morning Shows in Pakistan.
Replying to a question, Nadia Khan said, “Where are the morning shows in Pakistan now? There are a few shows left on TV channels. Nowadays, there are no good morning shows. In the past, people used to watch our shows both internationally and locally, and they would discuss our morning shows. Now, every channel has its own story. Dramas have taken over channels, and now they don’t want to produce morning shows because they earn more through dramas. Whenever we compromise on quality, people become accustomed to subpar content—and that happens in every field. Quality was compromised, and that’s why people left watching morning shows in Pakistan. I could see the decline. It happened when we started focusing on ratings; it was the death of our shows. We compromised on the quality of our product, and that became the reason for its downfall.”
