Jannat Mirza is the most followed TikToker of Pakistan. She also has a massive following on Instagram and other social platforms. She is also a household name now as people know who she is . She has gotten several opportunities in acting due to her stardom. She was offered dramas like Parizaad and Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay which she turned down. She made her film debut with Syed Noor’s Tere Bajre Di Rakhi.
Jannat Mirza’s film Tere Bajre Di Rakhi turned out to be a big flop and she has not acted in any other project since then. There has been a lot of debate around the film flopping so badly and now Dr Omer Adil has shared his opinion.
Dr Omer Adil was a guest on Hina Niazi’s show and the topic of talent vs followers came on. Dr Omer Adil said that by this film’s flopping, it is clear that “Bongiyan” aka antics that work on TikTok do not work in the real world and cinema. Thus, he is glad that more followers means more talent myths are broken. He added that something that is available to you at home will not make you go to the cinemas.
