Talking about his character, Arshad Mehmood said, “Dada was very fond of Roshi because she was a different kind of girl. She had an independent mind. While everyone used to stop her from pursuing her choices, it was only Dada who stood by her. I believe Dada was the catalyst in Roshi’s story. He truly understood her. They shared a great bond. In fact, Roshi once came to me and confronted me, saying, ‘You deceived me and teamed up with him!”.

He also praised the director, “The team was amazing. I consider myself a director’s actor, and Ali Hassan, the director, was a clear-headed person. He gave me instructions, and I followed them. Twice he corrected me, and both times it turned out to be great.”

Arshad Mehmood further added, “I never thought of acting. It was MD Productions and Mahesh who wanted to cast me in their drama. At that time, I was serving at NAPA. They got to know late that I had resigned from NAPA. Once they found out that I had left the academy, they signed me for Meem Se Mohabbat which they wanted for so long. The audience was so loving. Once, a girl came to me for a photograph, looked at me and asked, ‘Are all Dadas really like you?’ Maybe she was really immersed in the character.”
