Mansha Pasha is a tremendous Pakistani television and film actor known for her excellent acting in hit projects like Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Muhabbat Tujhe Alvida, Tou Dil Ka Kia Huwa, Idiot, Koel, Laal Kabootar, Chalaey Thay Saath and others. Mansha Pasha is a vocal Pakistani celebrity who expresses her opinion on various social and political issues. The actor is happily married to the young politician and lawyer Jibran Nasir and they are adored by the fans and industry.
Lately, Mansha Pasha appeared in Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast Excuse Me in which she opened up about her first failed marriage and her second marriage with Jibran Nasir.
Talking about it, Mansha Pasha said, “You might be right about it that me being empowered and vocal had something to do with the failure of my first marriage, but I don’t think that was the only reason. I believe I was confused at that time—it (my first marriage) was a very uncertain period of my life. I won’t say it was a mistake made by my parents or anyone else because it was my own choice. And it became a leading experience for me; I changed and grew so much as a person. Yes, I wasn’t very stable or clear about things back then. But after that experience, I came to understand myself. I got to know who I really am, and I gained the confidence to accept myself. Before that, I was different—I used to blame myself a lot. In our society, people often get into marriages under various pressures, and sometimes things work out by sheer luck, and sometimes they don’t. Society tends to pressure us to make marriages work, even when they shouldn’t.”
Talking about her marriage with Jibran, she said, “Today, Alhamdulillah, I am happily married. It was truly a blessing from Allah. I didn’t make any particular effort for it—it just happened like a miracle, and it turned out to be something beautiful. So now, I don’t make detailed plans. I just trust in Allah and leave things to Him.
