Her other notable dramas are Saraab, Besharam, Aap Kay Liye, and Dilruba. Recently, Ghana Ali got a huge praise for her character Zara which she portrayed in ARY Digital’s hit drama serial Naqaab.
Ghana Ali recently gave an interview to Independent Urdu where she opened up about her announcement of leaving acting.
Talking about it, Ghana Ali said, “I was observing Itikaf during Ramadan when my brother posted that story about me leaving showbiz. In fact, he took a chance and shared it, thinking that maybe I would leave the media afterwards. My husband, my brother, and my family don’t want me to act, but they don’t stop me from working—that’s their love for me. I will continue acting because I simply love to perform. I eagerly wait for good projects.”
She further added, “The main reason behind pursuing my acting career after marriage is because acting is my passion and I love to do challenging roles that are purely performance based. I never wanted to be a heroine.”
