In the show, Fiza Ali was given a task to choose alternative professions for multiple celebrities who were guest members on the show. While choosing a profession for Sohail Warraich, Fiza Ali said, “If Sohail Warraich wasn’t a journalist, he would have been a washroom cleaner because he has visited the washrooms of top Pakistani actresses, and we don’t know if he only visited those washrooms or also got the chance to clean them.”
Fiza Ali’s statements stirred an online debate and she faced both praise and criticism. Recently, Sohail Warraich has given a reply to Fiza Ali in GNN’s show G k Sang, hosted by Mohsin Bhatti.
While replying to Fiza Ali’s criticism, he said, “Oh, there’s nothing serious in it. I also do criticism — it was just her opinion and I welcome her opinion. I’m not angry or upset with her. I don’t hate her. If I get a chance, I will be the first one to interview her, and I will do it with respect and will also ask what mistake I committed. I’ll also ask for forgiveness. We were talking like friends talk in a drawing room, so there is nothing bad in it”
Talking further about Saba Qamar’s mimicry of him, he said, “I don’t mind memes made about me. I genuinely respect artists who imitate or mimic others — they put a lot of effort into it. I respect them, and it’s an honour when people copy you.” Here is the link to the video:
