Mehmood Akhtar is a veteran actor of Pakistan. He started his career in the golden era of PTV and he has since been working in the showbiz industry very successfully. The actor is known for his natural portrayal of characters. He was a guest on Zabardast by Wasi Shah and spoke about his mother’s support, his passion for work and obstacles he has overcome in his life.
Mehmood Akhtar also shared how camaraderie between artists go and how kindness is not limited between borders. He shared a story where none other than Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui came to his rescue and he showed kindness to him which he still remembers to this day.
Mehmood Akhtar shared that he was in Europe working on a project. They had to shoot in two locations. On the first location, The actor got sick. He suffered a heart attack and his crew had to leave for the second location. He had severe clotting and his family was not with him. That is when an Indian actor, who is none other than Nawazuddin Siddiqui stayed back with him. He took care of Mehmood Akhtar for 12 days till his son arrived to care for him. He still remembers this kindness today. He revealed that Nawaz was with the crew and he was not even an actor in that project but he still took care of him.
