Donkey meat being sold to restaurants in Lahore was news that broke the internet a few years ago. Since then Lahoris gets trolled for the donkey meat and whenever any stupidity related news comes out of the city, it is easily blamed on eating donkey meat instead of real beef by the citizens. But it looks like Lahore is not the only city facing this predicament.
Restaurants are always seen with skepticism since the news of such meat being used in food started becoming a reality.
Islamabad is the new victim of this crime and a big news was reported when 25 tonnes of donkey meat was seized by the Food Authority in Tarnol area in the city. This meat was supposed to be used for eating. Here is the news being reported on the mainstream media:
