Azra Mohiuddin is a senior Pakistani television actor who has worked in many hit dramas. She is famous for portraying serious and strict character. Girhen, Yeh Raha Dil, Tum Kon Piya, Shanakht, Sargoshi, Rehaai, Mujhe Khuda Pe Yaqeen Hai, Meri Zaat Zarra e Benishan are her most popular dramas. Currently, fans are praising her acting in Geo TV’s prime time drama series Humraaz. Azra was married to the very famous literary figure Zia Mohiuddin and together they have a beautiful daughter.
Recently, Azra appeared in Madeha Naqvi’s show where she opened up about a heartfelt prayer which Allah accepted for her.
Talking about it, Azra Mohiuddin said, “I always prayed for a daughter when I conceived my child. I said, ‘Oh Allah, please bless me with a daughter, as I am giving birth at a later age, somi just want a daughter because sons leave you, but daughters stay and take care of you. I only want a daughter who will be there for us.’ Allah accepted my prayers. My gynecologist, who is also a friend, was so happy and said, ‘Be thankful — otherwise, you would have blamed and scolded me if you had given birth to a son!’ I truly prayed hard for my daughter.”
