Parwarish was a hit drama on ARY Digital which managed to win the hearts of the audience. Among a string of very good characters, Boss aka Aamir Naqvi played by the director himself, Meesam Naqvi was loved by all and sundry. The character had comic shades and emotional depth, making it one of the best to yet come out on screen.
Meesam Naqvi revealed how he is satisfied with how they were able to execute Boss on screen in Parwarish. He also put a subtle message via this character. The Boss is often seen smoking and even in the end he had cigarettes in his ashtray. With his death, he highlighted how constant smoking is ultimately injurious to health.

Meesam Naqvi also spoke about giving tribute to none other than the legendary Aamir Zaki in Parwarish. He shared that yes this was a silent tribute to the artist. Meesam has been a teacher at NAPA where Aamir Zaki also used to come. He revealed that Aamir Zaki never shied away from sharing his knowledge and he was a very simple man. Thus he is happy that they could give a tribute to that artist. Boss was also inspired by him as Aamir Zaki also lived on his terms.
