Gohar Rasheed and Kubra Khan are both overjoyed to witness his mother’s acting debut. They expressed gratitude to ARY Digital and director Badar Mehmood. Gohar also shared that his mother felt a mix of excitement and nervousness—“just like a child going to school for the first time.”
Gohar Rasheed wrote, “Life has its own way of making moments magical and surreal. This was the first day [7th July] of Maa’s (Farzana Munir) shoot on the set of the drama serial #Biryani. My wife and I woke up excited to drop Maa to work, while she was super nervous and scared—just like I was on my first day of school when she dropped me off. I clearly remember wanting to go back home with Maa; I didn’t want her to leave, so she stayed with me at school until I felt comfortable. After a while, when I relaxed and started playing, she gave me a reassuring look, and I looked back, assuring her I’d be fine. With a gleam of happiness in her eye, she left me at school. At chutti time, when I came out of class, I saw her waiting for me and ran to give her a tight hug. Years later, life came full circle. On this day, the same thing happened, except our roles were reversed—I was in Maa’s place, and she was in mine. We shared the same look of assurance, though this time my eyes held the gleam. Life is a funny thing, isn’t it? I LOVE YOU, MAA.
