Anwar Ali is a senior PTV actor who passed away yesterday at the age of 71 after battling a prolonged illness. He was famous for his roles in dramas such as Khudabaksh, Nishani, Andhera Ujala, Ababeel, Home Sweet Home, Comedy Theatre and many others. He was also a renowned stage actor who gained fame for his excellent comic timing, expressive acting, and body language. He left showbiz in 2017 and devoted himself to a religious life.
Recently, Anwar Ali’s son has given an interview to Ali Hamza Vlogs. In his talk to the vlogger, he opened up about the last days of his father at hospital.
Talking about it, Anwar Ali’s son said, “He was only taking my name and saying, “Don’t go anywhere.” I was at the hospital for 17 days, day and night. I made a video call to my sister, and he instantly said, “She is my daughter.” He was always ready to visit a funeral house; he would only tell me the time he needed to change, and then he would rush there. He left showbiz in 2017. During our Umrah, when I grew a beard, he also expressed his wish to keep one. I encouraged him, saying, “You are already regular with prayers; now you should also keep a beard.” His son also requested fans to remember his father in their prayers. Here is the link to the video:
