Aashir Wajahat is an emerging Pakistani actor, singer, and musician. He started his career as a child star with the film Karachi Se Aagey, produced by his parents, Wajahat Rauf and Shazia Wajahat. The young artist has appeared in several notable projects, including Pinjra and Khuwabon Mein Mili, and will soon be seen portraying Subuk in Kafeel. His notable films include John and Na Baligh Afraad. Aashir Wajahat also gained widespread fame through his hit song Sadqay with Nihal Naseem, which garnered 55 million views within a year.

Recently, Aashir Wajahat appeared on Good Morning Pakistan, where he talked about his character in Kafeel. He also discussed the dynamics of Zeba and Jami’s relationship.

Replying to a question about how Jami and Zeba have four children despite their differences, Aashir Wajahat said, “I think this play, and others as well, represent what is happening in the majority of households in our country. Normally, families have four or five children, and not all households have healthy dynamics. In this case, Jami is not even fulfilling his basic duties as a father and husband, yet they have four children, which is quite strange. But obviously, we have a story to tell.” Watch here:
While replying to the question of whether Subuk will adopt his father’s traits, Aashir Wajahat said, “There is suspense in it. As the child of a toxic father, you can go in either direction—you may become negative like your father, or you may turn into a positive person. I don’t want to reveal too much because today an important episode will air.” Here is the link to the video:
