Abbas Ashraf is the brother of superstar Imran Ashraf. He started his career with ads and later shifted to dramas. He has been actively working since the past six years and he has now been noticed for his role as Faris in the drama Aik Mohabbat Aur. He sat down for an interview with Fuchsia and spoke about his struggles and bond with his family.
Abbas Ashraf Awan shared that he has a very good bond with his brother Imran Ashraf. Imran also helped with his character Faris in his drama Aik Mohabbat Aur. He was directed to keep a mustache for the character and his brother brought in two stylists to help him with his look. Imran also curated the wardrobe for the role of Faris and helped him in developing the character.

Abbas Ashraf also shared that elders brothers are a blessing. Having an elder brother is a huge support after having a father. They stand by you and they are a support to you just like your father is. Thus it has been great to have an elder brother.

The actor also shared that his mother was against him joining acting despite his brother being in the same profession. She even prayed in Makkah that he does not become an actor but it was his destiny. He further revealed that he wanted his brother to help his career in the beginning but Imran Ashraf refused. Imran advised him to work hard and carve his own path. He did exactly that and he has done his own work to grow into the artist he is today.
