Fajr Sheikh is a talented Pakistani television actress who started her career as a model but later transitioned to acting. Fajr’s debut drama serial was Betiyaan, which was well received by fans, but she gained fame through Hum TV’s popular prime-time drama serial Qarz-e-Jaan. Fans also praised her performance in Aik Mohabbat Aur, which ended on Green Entertainment a few days ago. Besides acting, Fajr Sheikh is also a homemaker, as she is happily married.
Today, Fajr Sheikh appeared as a guest on Nadia Khan’s morning show Rise and Shine. During the show, she revealed that she is married to Pakistani drama director Seraj Us Salikin, whose drama Mein Tera is currently airing on ARY Digital. She further revealed that theirs was a love marriage.
Fajr Sheikh said, “I proposed to him first. We went out for tea, and there I expressed my feelings to him. He took his time and didn’t confess his feelings there. He remained silent but sent his parents, which shocked me. I asked him, ‘You didn’t even confess your feelings to me?’ To which he said that everything was already settled between us, so there was no need to express or confess his feelings. I sometimes tease him now, saying, ‘You didn’t propose to me,’ but he is a shy person. The thing I love about him is that he is very caring and loving towards his family.” Watch here.
