Aftab Iqbal’s second marriage came to light not too long ago when his ex-wife Mariyam Ali Hussain’s name was dragged into the domestic violence case of former filmstar Nargis and her husband. Aftab did not hide it but it was never properly announced either. He spoke to Mariyam Ali Hussain at that time and conveyed how Mariyam had nothing to do with Nargis or her husband. Fans had been curious about Aftab’s second marriage since then and now Mariyam Ali Hussain has spoken about it.
Mariyam Ali Hussain was a guest on Naeem Hanif’s show and spoke about her career and family. She revealed that her mother was also a well-established dancer and dance teacher. She also taught Mariyam the art of dancing and she can perform Kathak, hiphop and contemporary forms of dancing. She has worked in films and shows and she was present at a media event where she received an offer for Aftab Iqbal’s Khabardar. This was the very first time she became a proper host and she added that her relationship with Aftab Iqbal had nothing to do with her hosting position. They worked together for a whole year before they got married.

Mariyam Ali Hussain and Aftab Iqbal are now divorced. They share two children from that marriage: a son and a daughter. She still shares a great equation with Aftab. She said that she always treated him as a teacher as Aftab Iqbal always taught everyone on set. She did not mind even if he scolded her on set as she knew he had a positive outlook. They are co-parenting now and have a good relationship.
