Ali Abbas is a versatile Pakistani television and film actor. He has acted in numerous hit Pakistani drama serials and has gotten critical and public acclaim for his remarkable acting performances. His notable dramas are Khaali Haath, Fitrat, Faisala, Guddu, Tum KOn Pya, Titli, Grift, Kaheen Deep Jalay, Woh Ziddi Si, and Baylagam. Ali is the son of senior actor Waseem Abbas. His Grandfather Inayat Hussain Bhatti was also a very famous Pakistani folk singer.
Recently, Ali Abbas made an appearance in Excuse Me with Ahmed Ali Butt. In the podcast he talked about the challenges after father’s second marriage to his colleague Saba Hamid who was divorced and already had two children Misha and Faris.
Talking about father’s second marriage, Ali Abbas said, “When he got married again, our bond broke. I was around eleven or twelve at the time, and I was very upset. Being the eldest, I had to look after two sisters and a brother. I realized that I had to become a parent to my siblings, as my father would no longer be investing time in us, and my mother was going through depression. I am the one who always choose to be part of the solution, not the problem. I knew I had to take care of my siblings. I also developed a rift with my father. However, I eventually realized that the biggest victim in this situation was my father, who was also suffering because of this division. I then began talking to him, and he started sharing his problems with me. Since then, I’ve developed a bond with him.” Here is the link to the video:
