Talking about it, she said, “They paid pages to troll me and make memes about me. I was trolled from all sides. Directors used to say, ‘We’ve heard a lot about your bad reputation. Why would we cast her? We’re taking a risk by casting you.’ The kind of degradation I faced breaks a person from the inside. If you don’t intend to give me work, why are you inviting me just to humiliate me? And who are you to comment on my conduct? Don’t do me any favors—I don’t need work from you.
