Amin Iqbal is a director who has given biggest projects like Mannat, Deedan and Raaja Rani. He is known for being one of the most supportive directors on set and people who have worked with him have always loved him. The star director was a guest on Zabardast hosted by Wasi Shah and shared behind the scenes stories and how his life has changed over the years.
Amin Iqbal shared his love for his parents and also spoke about how his mother and her teachings were. He revealed that his father has a great impact on him and he taught him practicalities of life and professionalism but his mother brought in that sensitivity in him which he is still able to channel till today.
Amin Iqbal shared a very emotional story about his mother. He revealed his mother was a very kind-hearted person and once Amin brought baby chicks as pets to his house. One day a chick damaged his leg and he could not walk fast like the other pet chicks. Amin was feeding them and noticed how the health chicks left the injured one behind. He got emotional about how even animals do not care about their injured brother and started crying. When his mother saw this, she slapped him, and said that it is your fault if you are emotional about someone’s plight and not practically helping them. These are the teachings she instilled in him.
