Angeline Malik recently shared Ovarian cancer symptoms with her social media family on the request. She also gave an insight about the tests to go through, if one feels the unusual changes in the body.
Talking about it, Angeline Malik said, “A lot of people asked me about the symptoms of ovarian cancer. It is one of the silent cancers — only about 20% of people detect it in time. The rest are diagnosed too late, like me, because its symptoms are very subtle and easy to ignore. These include bloating, loss of appetite, sudden weight loss or gain, frequent urination, and excessive bleeding. Most people don’t get checked for issues like indigestion or unexplained weight changes. However, ovarian cancer can be detected through a simple CA-125 test, and a pelvic ultrasound can also help a lot. I was traveling when I first felt bloated but ignored it. After returning to Pakistan, I was still bloated, so, I had my tests done and was diagnosed with grade 3 ovarian cancer. It’s a simple test and doesn’t cost much — don’t make the same mistake. Get any unusual body changes checked in time.”
