PIMS Hospital tragedy has exposed our government infrastructure as well as the governance. 15 infants were burnt alive in the largest hospital of the capital city and no rescue apparatus was present. This has shocked the nation and every parent has felt the pain and helplessness of the victims and their families.
Another tragic news has now come out about a baby victim who was burnt alive. The baby boy was born two months ago to a 15 year old mother. He was also present in the nursery when the fire broke out at the hospital.
The 15 year old mother came to deliver her baby with a young man and her grandma. She gave birth to a son and when the hospital asked for the proof of marriage, they fled away leaving the newborn who was present there for two months. The child remained unclaimed and he has now passed away,thus bringing forward another big tragedy. How a baby was there without any identification and he passed away without any recognition is a pain no one can understand.
