Arfa Karim Randhawa is the proud daughter of the nation and a child prodigy who is still remembered for her achievements. She became the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional in 2004 at the age of 9. Her talent was recognized by mogul Bill Gates himself. Her father and mother supported her as she went on to plan and make way for further achievements in the world of IT. She sadly passed away in 2012 at the age of 16.
Arfa Karim’s father Amjad Karim Randhawa is a military officer and he has worked to keep his daughter’s dream alive. Arfa’s parents have been working to build her legacy and offer free IT education to the youth. Her father shared beautiful pictures with her and paid an emotional tribute to her on her birthday.
He said that Arfa would have been 31 years old today. Though she is not here, the family is still working to keep her legacy alive. He remembered her with tears and he is determined to never give up his daughter’s dreams. Here is what he had to say:
