Asif Raza Mir is a veteran Pakistani actor and a producer who is known for multiple hit projects including Tanhayan, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, Muqabil, Meem Se Mohabbat and others. Fans recently praised his positive character in the hit Hum TV drama serial Meem Se Mohabbat. The actor is married and both his sons Ahad Raza Mir and Adnan Raza Mir are renowned actors.
Lately, he appeared in Maliha Rehman’s YouTube show where he talked about Ahad Raza Mir’s acting skills, passion for acting and working strategy.
Talking about his acting, Asif Raza Mir said, “He is a great actor. It’s not only me who is saying this but everyone in the business and outside the business approve of his acting. And you have seen how much people appreciate his work. He is quite passionate about acting; he has been an actor since his childhood. Acting is very important for him in life and he is very dedicated to it, which is good.”
He further added, “I would not say that his work is the same as my work because earlier years of my career were different than his. I’m not a trained actor, I worked on my skills over the period of time. On the other hand, Ahad is a trained actor. We are different, we even shared a difference of opinion on the set. He has his own style and I think I have my own style. At this time, the demand of acting is different. There is always a difference in working environment nationally and internationally. He further said, “Ahad needs to think that he should work frequently. He needs to understand that in our profession actors have less time. An actor can’t afford to take a gap of one or two years because audience will forget. If one project goes hit, you should do another as it has chances to be hit. I also understand his perspective that I don’t want to do projects just to be on air. Which I agree”
