Asma Abbas is a multi-talented Pakistani television actress known for her natural and subtle performances in hits like Dumpukht, GT Road, Akbari Asghari, Khumaar, Daldal, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Chupke Chupke, Chaudhary and Sons, Radd, Mann Jogi, Baby Baji ki Bahuwain, and Dastak. She also hosted the comedy show Punjabi Kuriyaan and is known for her regular digital creations. Nowadays, fans are loving her performance in Hum TV’s hit serial Muamma.

Recently, she appeared on PTV’s talk show Star & Style, hosted by Asim Yar Tiwana, where she discussed the influence of top Pakistani actresses on clothing brand endorsements.

Talking about it, Asma Abbas said, “Stars like Zara, Ayeza, and Iqra — whatever they wear has a direct impact on people’s choices. Their clothing and endorsements immediately influence girls. For example, Sajal Aly initially wore one of my dresses, and it sold out instantly. I had the design, but the specific print was unavailable, which became a problem because everyone was ordering it. It made my life very difficult. I asked them to make it in a different print, but they refused, saying they only wanted the one Sajal wore — probably thinking they would look like her. I also made another mistake in the beginning by making different pairings, but people always ordered the exact one I wore. I then realized that people want only what they saw on actresses, like the Sajal Aly’s one, it was a beautiful koti, shalwar, and kurta. I made 60 pieces, and they were all sold out because girls love copying actresses.” Here is the link to the video:
