Geo News was suspended for 15 days and their license was cancelled after they aired a controversial show on Muharram. A documentary by the name of Safar e Ishq was aired where khakas of Hazrat Muhammad SAW and Ahl e Bayt were shown. The channel has also apologized and acknowledged they were wrong. Asma Shirazi has now spoken about this on her YouTube channel.
Asma Shirazi said that Geo is definitely in the wrong but they have accepted their mistake. It was an unintentional mistake and she reported on how the channel is not working for 15 days.
