Punjab Police is in the news as a department itself for one thing or another but this time they were able to do their job in the Icchra incident. The incident brought forward ASP Shahrbano Naqvi and she is a part of all the news bulletins these days. She was the one who first rescued the lady from that scene.
ASP Shehrbano has since gotten a lot of appreciation on social media. From her own superior officers to the Pakistan Army reacting to her performance as well as general public and celebrities praising her, Shehrbano Naqvi was highly appreciated. She has also gotten a ton of awards since then and she will also be a royal guest to Saudi Arabia as announced by the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan.
