Atiqa Odho is a legendary Pakistani television actor who first captivated audiences in the early 1990s with her brilliant performances in the classic dramas Sitara Aur Mehrunissa, Dasht, and Nijat. Her other notable dramas include Dao, Humsafar, Besharam, Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi, Pyar Ke Sadqay, Pardes, and many others. Nowadays, fans are praising her performance in Dr Bahu. Besides acting, Atiqa Odho is successfully running her makeup brand, Atiqa Odho Cosmetics. She is also co-hosting Kya Drama Hai alongside Mukarram Kaleem.

Recently, Atiqa Odho appeared on PTV’s talk show Star and Style, hosted by Asim Yar Tiwana. During the show, she opened up about her late director, Iqbal Kashmiri.


While watching a clip from one of her old films directed by Iqbal Kashmiri, Atiqa Odho became emotional and started crying. The actor said, “You will make me cry after playing these songs because they reminded me of Iqbal Kashmiri. I worked with him in Jo Dar Gaya Woh Mar Gaya and Mummy. Although Mummy wasn’t very successful, I have so many memories from its shoot. I used to tease him a lot in front of Baig Saab because I didn’t know how to dance. Iqbal Saab loved acting so much that he would dance himself to teach me. I feel so sad whenever I think about his passing. He was incredibly passionate about his work.
