Atiqa Odho is a seasoned Pakistani drama artist known for her hit TV shows like Humsafar, Nijat, Sitara Aur Mehrunnisa, Besharam, Dasht, Dao, Pyar Kay Sadqay, and Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi, among others. She was also praised for her performance in Hum TV’s drama serial Neeli Kothi. Nowadays, Atiqa Odho appears on the TV review show Kya Drama Hai alongside Nadia Khan and Marina Khan.
In this week’s Kya Drama Hai Muamma special episode, Atiqa Odho reviewed the ending and also shared her thoughts on Jijji’s poor closure.
While expressing her dissatisfaction with the conclusion, Atiqa Odho said, “Throughout, the project was great, and the work Saba has done in this series was phenomenal. In fact, I was surprised to see the way it ended. I mean, how could Saba agree to such a ridiculous ending for Jijji? I don’t know if things were edited on their own towards the end, because I can’t imagine Saba agreeing to this. Actors do stand up for their characters—we even fight with directors for them—so I was very disappointed. Saba should not have agreed to it. It was all overly dramatized, especially the way the mother was crying at the grave. It seemed like they rushed the ending in desperation. There was no proper closure or convincing finish for Jijji and the other characters.” Here is the link to the video:
