Atiqa Odho is senior Pakistani television actress known for her hit dramas like Sitara Aur Mehrunnisa, Dasht, Nijat, Humsafar, Besharam, Dao, Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi, Pyar Ke Sadqay, Angar Waadi, Harjaee and others.
Atiqa Odho is currently garnering praise for her balanced judgement and opinions on TV review show Kya Drama, however, she often criticizes ridiculous tracks in popular dramas and this time she has criticized Jama Taqseem’s ridiculous track. Nadia Khan also raised questions regarding the same track.
Talking about the recent Jama Taqseem episodes, Atiqa Odho said, “For me it has become a ridiculous pink tone drama, the story is moving on but it is a predictable story, we have seen these things before. All the children are now facing problems in their personal lives after getting separated, one husband has become addictive and the other house experience decoity, Laila and Qaiser are also facing issues. I don’t know why Laila’s parents have moved into her house? I mean, they are well-off people. I find it a bit ridiculous that such wealthy parents have left their own home and started living in a small apartment with their daughter, especially when they weren’t even excited about their son-in-law. It doesn’t make sense to me. The kind of father Deepak is playing seems odd and strange. Also, her mother is an educated, working-class woman — she’s strong, and a woman like her would never move into her daughter’s home. It just feels unnecessary and unrealistic. Nadia Khan also added, “l also go to the kitchen for cooking but I have never cut my finger like that and why didn’t she go abroad for a vacation instead.”
