Waris which aired in 1979. He played a pivotal character of Chaudhry Niaz Ali in Waris. Dehleez, Uchay Burj Lahore Dey,Chanan Tey Dariya Andhera Ujala, Sona Chandi were also his notable appearances. In 2020, he appeared in the Hum TV drama series Dil Tanha Tanha. He is currently doing business in Lahore and is away from the media industry.
Recently, Aurangzeb Laghari appeared in Gup Shab, hosted by Vasay Chaudhary. In the show, he called out the actors who unnecessarily hate Mahira Khan.
Aurangzeb Laghari said, “A few of our artists have found this way of staying in news by talking bad about popular actors. For example, one of our actors spoke harshly about Mahira. I was not expecting this from him. She is a very big artist, a beautiful and fine actress. She learns her craft, and others can also learn from such a brilliant artist who puts so much hard work into her acting and performances. It is actually sad to see actors hating on a star like Mahira. Those who target her can never reach her level. An artist has no age, yet they are targeting her.
