Aurat March is a movement which started for women’s rights. Many strong voices were seen supporting the movement and they used to attend the event every year. This year, the March saw a lot of opposition from the government, but they were finally given the NOC with conditions that they will not spread any vulgarity.

The year 2026 also saw many activists attending the March. Sheema Kermani was the main leader for the March while we saw many intersex and trans activists dancing and having a great time at the march. However, certain posters and agendas being propagated at the March raised eyebrows and people are questioning if this March will be able to work for women’s rights or it is just agenda-driven?

The internet is harshly criticizing Aurat March 2026 as they think this movement is doing more harm to women’s rights than good. one user wrote, “How will this dance give rights to KPK and Balochistan’s women.” Another added, “Another March is needed now to save women from this March.” One said, “This is not about women’s rights anymore.
