Ayesha Jahanzeb is a renowned television host and actor. She began her career through Aftab Iqbal’s popular show Khabarnak which aired on Geo TV. She also hosted A Plus’s Chocolate Times. Ayesha Jahanzeb is a mother to five talented children and she lost her husband to cancer at a very young age. A few years ago, Ayesha Jahanzeb made headlines on social media following an ugly divorce after a domestic abuse incident. Now, her daughter Zoya has stepped into acting and has become a famous Pakistani celebrity.
Recently, Ayesha Jahanzeb appeared in Rise and Shine hosted by Nadia Khan and Zohaib Hassan. In the show, she revealed losing her job after domestic violence and divorce controversy.
Talking about it, Ayesha Jahanzeb said, “The thing is, everything has its cost which you have to pay. When I had put my case in front of the world, I paid its biggest price. I lost my job, and since then I have been doing off-and-on projects. I recently did a great show on Express, and a lot of good is coming. I worked with PTV as well. I lost my job because in Pakistan people blame you, thinking you must have been wrong in a relationship—we do victim blaming. When you become single, you become problematic. When something evil attaches to you, channels don’t want to work with you. I have not signed anything yet.
