Divorces have increased massively in Pakistan and in the showbiz industry it is becoming a norm. Weddings are surviving for a maximum of 2 years and there have been several marriages which broke down after over a decade together. Whenever a favourite couple part ways, it is a matter of concern for their fans and many questions arise that why is this becoming common. In many instances, divorces are not even properly announced. Fans who actually think of these couples as goals also start feeling off about marriage. Last year has been disastrous in this regard as we saw many couples going their separate ways.
Ayesha Omar and Kiran Malik were on Hasna Mana Hai to promote their film Money Back Guarantee when they were asked about this increased trend of divorces in the industry. They both said that increased intolerance is definitely the cause. Kiran said that people do not tolerate even slight differences and they have problems even if one partner sneezes loudly.
Ayesha Omar added that the communication gap is to be blamed first. She also said that people are now more aware of their rights and abuse is not tolerated and that has also contributed to increase in divorces but tolerance has also decreased.
