Kubra Khan & Gohar Rasheed are in the news for their recent grand musical wedding events, which were celebrated soon after their simple Nikah ceremony in Makkah. This actually enraged many social media users, who criticized the couple for not opting for a simple wedding in the respect to their pious Nikah ceremony at the Kaaba. Social media users said that the purpose of an Islamic wedding fails after such dances on Bollywood songs.
Former Pakistani actor Aymen Saleem came into Kubra & Gohar’s defence after reading the comments on social media against them.
Aymen Saleem took to Instagram and wrote, “The unnecessary moral policing that happens every time someone dares to live their life on their own terms is honestly exhausting. A celebrity couple did their Nikah in Makkah, kept it simple, and then celebrated their wedding the way they wanted. How does that affect you? Why is it so hard for people to be happy for others instead of acting like self-appointed judges”
She further added, “No one gets to question someone else’s sincerity and faith based on how they choose to celebrate their joy. Faith is personal. Celebration is personal, if you can’t find it in yourself then be happy for others. The least you can do is mind your own business” Here is the story she shared:
