Ayub Khosa is a seasoned Pakistani television and film actor who has been working in the showbiz industry for around forty years. He hails from Balochistan and shared a mixed background. His mother is Pakhtoon and father is a Baloch. Ayub Khosa’s notable dramas are Zanjeer, Dasht, Rhubaru Ishq Tha, Khuda Zamin Say Gaya Nahi Hai, Irtiqa, Shantul, Sukhaan, Sumbul, Nakhuda, Mitti, Sassi, Sadori, Dushman, Sham Se Pehle and Wapsi Ke Baad. He has also performed in the hit Pakistani film Khuda Ke Liye.
Recently, Ayub Khosa appeared in
Samaa TV’s morning show Subh Ka Samaa, hosted by Madeha Naqvi. In the show, he revealed the reason behind joining showbiz.
Talking about it, he said, “I can’t tell you exactly how I came to PTV, but let me share a little. I used to visit the PTV studios just to admire the beautiful girls who frequently came there. One day, when I was at PTV, Karim Baloch, who was the GM at the time, asked me, “How did you get in?” I said, “I just came to visit.” He asked, “Are you here to visit, or do you want to act in a drama?” I said yes, and that’s how it started. I began with a Balochi play, and things took off from there. Back then, there weren’t many restrictions on entering the TV studios, especially since my cousin was already working at PTV, so I had easy access.” Here is the link to the video:
