Babrik Shah and Rashid Mehmood are two versatile and talented Pakistani artists who have made substantial names for themselves through their excellent acting in hit TV and film projects. Both actors are currently working less in dramas or films, but they enjoy timeless fame due to their successful projects in the past.
Recently, they both appeared together on Shaan-e-Sahoor, hosted by Nida Yasir. In the show, they talked about the tragic death of legendary PTV actor Jamil Fakhri’s son in the USA.
Talking about the tragedy, Babrik Shah said, “I actually told him not to become like Jamil Fakhri. Fakhri sir experienced an unbearable tragedy in his life —his son was set on fire by African Americans in the USA. His son had gone there for a better future, but unfortunately, he met a tragic fate. Jamil Fakhri took this too seriously; he was always very sad. Whenever he had to do the crying scenes, he was actually crying for real. I told everyone that he is in deep sorrow and grief and will be harming himself.”
Rashid Mehmood also added, “He was the wittiest and naughtiest person amongst us till his old age, but this tragedy changed him and took his life. He used to call me and cry the whole night after his son’s death”
