Bee Gul is considered among the best drama writers in Pakistan. Her content and scripts are realistic and they impart lessons and start necessary conversations that we need in society. Bee Gul has given mainstream television gems like Raqeeb Se, Talkhiyan and Dar Si Jati Hai Sila. She has always spoken about the push back that she receives from within the industry who cannot simply accept her stories and run them as they are.
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar on the other hand is another big writer in the industry who has a lot of say. He has the position to keep his scripts intact and he never allows anyone to change the stories. He dictates even the casting of his scripts and his dialogues are what generally get appreciation.
Bee Gul while speaking to Iffat Omar shared that Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is in a better position than her in the industry. She said that he is a good writer with brilliant craft and he has given many commercial hits that give him an edge over her. She added that he is also scary and therefore people do not mess with him much.
