Beena Chaudhary is a senior Pakistani television actress who began her media career 17 years ago through radio Pakistan. Her first television serial, Chunri, aired on PTV. Her other notable TV dramas include Siyani, Girhen, and others. Beena Chaudhary’s daughter, Hareem Sohail, is a young established artist who is currently garnering praise for her successful drama serial Iqtidar.
Recently, Beena Chaudhary and Hareem Sohail appeared on Good Morning Pakistan. During the show, Beena Chaudhary and daughter share details of Hareem’s proposal. Hareem said, “It is a love marriage, but my mother will share her version of the story”.
Beena Chaudhary said, “She has a friend named Zainab, and my son-in-law is Zainab’s friend and their senior as well. So basically, Hareem and Rayan became friends through her, and after two to three meetings, he proposed to her which she initially refused.”
Beena Chaudhary further added, “I made her understand that Rayan is a good person and would prove to be a good husband.”
Hareem Sohail said, “I was quite young—I was twenty when he proposed, although he was four years older than me but at that time, I didn’t want to get married, and I also didn’t believe in love at first sight”. Talking about the advice she gave to her daughter, Beena Chaudhary said, “Hareem is a very obedient daughter. She has never raised her voice in front of me, even if I scold her. I told her to always respect her in-laws, be gentle with them—bear whatever they say and treat them like parents. She truly does care about her in-laws.”
