Biryani is an ARY Digital romantic drama series produced by Fahad Mustafa and Dr. Ali Kazmi under the banner of Big Bang Productions. It is written by ace Pakistani writer Zafar Mairaj—who previously penned Kabli Pulao and Dampukht—and directed by Cheekh fame Badar Mehmood. The story features a married landlord who falls in love with an educated, lively girl he meets at university. The cast includes Ramsha Khan, Khushhal Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Yousaf Bashir Qureshi, Javed Rizvi, Mahnoor Parvez, Farzana Munir, Laila Wasti, and others.
So far, 21 episodes of Biryani have aired on ARY Digital. In the latest episodes, Gul Meher visits Nisa to say sorry to her along with gifts. Meeran, on the other hand, joins back his university.
Fans are now bored with the storyline as they started watching it for purely a romantic track between Nisa and Meeran, played by Ramsha Khan and Khushhal Khan. Many are also not liking Meeran’s character who according to them is the weakest link in this story. One fan wrote, “Now it’s becoming boring, we want more scenes of Khushhal Khan and Ramsha Khan, missing their amazing chemistry. Meeran should take a stand for himself.” Another said, “This drama became boring when the Gul Mehar and Meraan’ truth came out” Another stated, “I loved this drama when it started. After the entire mangni thing with Rashid Bhai and the dragging of the story, I don’t feel like watching it anymore.” One fan remarked, “Nisa needs to end her relationship; it’s painful and uncomfortable to watch them.
