Lata Mangeshkar is also known as “nightingale of India”. She has an illustrious career spanning over almost 70 years. Lata Mangeshkar has been loved not only in India but has a huge following in Pakistan and allover the world. Her voice was a soothing balm for many and people still go back to her songs.
Lata Mangeshkar had been fighting Covid 19 for sometime now. She was admitted in ICU due to Covid related complications in Mumbai. She has breathed her last today, closing a huge chapter in the history of music in sub-continent.
