Ayesha Khan is a veteran Pakistani television actress known for her hit dramas like Shaam Se Pehle, Aanch, Afshan, Mehndi, Mirat Ul Aroos, Meri Guriya, Mubarak Ho Beti Hui Hai, Teri Raza and others. This June, the actress passed away peacefully at her house, however, her dead body was recovered later. After her death, Ayesha Khan’s children face severe public wrath because of not being with their mother during her last time.
Recently, Actor Aslam Sheikh and Bushra Ansari have revealed that Ayesha Khan’s death is tragic but the stories about her children are not true.
Aslam Sheikh said, “We all have to go, and may Allah bless Ayesha Appa. I always stayed in touch with her. She left work because she wanted to work on her own terms and conditions. Unfortunately, showbiz often overlooks true artists and casts younger people in roles meant for older ones. Ayesha Riyasat Ali Khan’s father was a DSP, and she was the sister of Khalida Riyasat. She didn’t need anyone’s help. Social media users began spreading false rumors of her death, which quickly went viral—many didn’t even bother to write facts. Ayesha Appa was independent: she used to drive herself, was self‑sufficient, and didn’t rely on anyone.”
He further added, “Her children took good care of her and regularly sent her money. Her daughter wanted to take her to Dubai, and her son reached out from abroad—but she chose to live alone in Pakistan because she was content and busy with her routine. In the media, Ayesha was always preferred by Humayun Saeed but in her last days, she refused to work. I will never forget Ayesha Appa. I have long voice notes of her which are proof that her life was stable. I even called her four days before she passed away. She had a fracture, and then Eid arrived, and I feel terrible that I couldn’t get in touch with her afterward. He praised Sadia Imam and Mishi Khan for their kind words about her. Bushra Ansari also expressed her views on Ayesha Khan’s death. She said, “Ayesha Khan’s death news was so tragic, I am so sad but I feel more traumatized after hearing the news on social media. Yes, her kids were abroad, but things are not like people are discussing. We worked a few years ago; she disclosed about her children who were settled abroad. She said they used to take care of her and also wanted her to live with them but she refused to go with them. Some people prefer living alone like my sister Neelum, her kids want her to live abroad but she lives in Pakistan. I asked if they give her money; she said they leave heavy amounts in her drawers. She told me about her routine and how much she enjoys living in Gulshan Iqbal and loves reading and her other activities. She was a strong and educated woman. I don’t know what the current situation was, but she was happy that way. May Allah bless her with higher ranks in Jannah.
