Bushra Ansari is a veteran and legend of Pakistan. She is a strong and independent woman who has always done what was difficult in her life and took decisions that served as inspiration for the coming generations. Bushra Ansari was married to Iqbal Ansari previously and the couple had two daughters. They got divorced decades after marriage when their daughters were settled.
In an interview with Meher Bokhari, Bushra Ansari shared a positive aspect about her first marriage. She said that the marriage provided her with protection while she worked in the industry. People always treated her like a sister or a sister in law and therefore she never felt unsafe while she was working.

She also spoke about why she did not talk about her divorce first as she was not feeling up to it. She shared that her second wedding announcement has also come suddenly as she and some of her friends including Samina Ahmed and Sultana Siddiqui actually wanted to do a discussion where they could have talked about second marriage and a second chance at life. Due to their schedules that was not possible so she and her husband Iqbal Hussain made the announcement.
