Bushra Ansari was earlier married to Iqbal Ansari. He was a successful director and producer at PTV. Bushra on the other hand is a legend and a superstar. She is still as relevant and an icon at the age of 70. Her first marriage was very difficult as she has shared time and again and the couple finally got divorced after their daughters were grown up.
Bushra Ansari never badmouthed her ex-husband but she has shared how difficult it was to manage it all in her ex relationship. She was not appreciated and her efforts were never acknowledged. Her daughter Nariman Ansari has now spoken about the dynamics between her parents and she thinks her father always supported her mother.
Nariman Ansari said that in 80s and 90s, it was impossible for women to work in media. Her mother’s parents despite being artists were opposed to her work but her father Iqbal Ansari always supported her. He supported her singing career. He is the one who brought her into dramas and she became an actress. Later he asked her to host shows as he saw the talent she had. She added that the marriage did not work out but her father definitely supported her mother’s career and helped her grow. She appreciated her father’s progressive mindset.
