Case No. 9 is a drama which has earned praise for a very strong storyline and performances. It has shown in a practical way how a rape case is dealt in Pakistan in court and in society. Saba Qamar, Faysal Quraishi and Junaid Khan were the three central charcters who were shown present at the crime scene. Rohit played by Junaid Khan was the man who had the ability to turn this case around as he was the eye witness.
Rohit remained loyal to Kamran even after Kamran committed a heinous crime but Manisha, Rohit’s wife, played by Naveen Waqar stood with justice. Manisha is the answer to society’s question that if a wrong man’s family opposes his actions, will he choose the right path? The answer is Yes! Rohit chose the right path and spoke truth in the court after beng pressured by his righteous wife.
