Today, Pakistan Day is being celebrated with zeal, zest & utmost enthusiasm, the day is observed in the remembrance of Pakistan Resolution, that was passed in 1940, according to which Pakistan’s foundation was laid. After seven years of passing of the resolution, Pakistan came into being in 1947.
Today, the day was celebrated with enthusiasm. A public holiday was observed across the country on the occasion of Pakistan Day. After Fajr prayers, special prayers were held for the security, development and prosperity of the country. The day officially started with a cannon salute. Pakistan Day Parade was also held in Islamabad today.
Pakistani celebrities also extended their heartfelt wishes on the special day. They posted heartwarming pictures on their Instagram stories and expressed love for the motherland.
