Recently Geo had entered into a non-exclusive agreement with veteran writer, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar similar to the ones he has with other TV channels, for dramas and a film script. However, following Khalil ur Rehman Qamar’s misogynist comments that he made in a live show, against fellow panelist Marvi Sirmad, Geo Network and 7th Sky Entertainment suspended its contract with the writer.
The move has been made and now people, including celebrities are lauding Geo for its bold move and raising its voice against people like Khalil ur Rehman Qamar.
